v27.1 Change Log

**Remember to load your save from the town square.**


**Also be sure to always install the game into a fresh folder unless it's patch data to avoid weird issues. Saves are kept in a separate location so they're safe.**


**Content**


* When reading 'Lucidian Sweethearts!♥' with Minoni, you will now be regaled with a summary of your reading. There are 7 variants of these mini-scenes, and they all appear in a sequential order as you partake in reading sessions with Minoni, eventually looping when you've been through all 7. * When talking to Minoni, a new menu ('Talk about books.') is now available, featuring a new talk option ('So you've always liked reading?'). Said option opens into a Minoni-centric mini-quest, featuring a sex scene and a unique reward. By Valentin Cognito, edited by Threshold.

* The Solo Imp Defeat scene has been revamped with a fresh editing pass and extra polish. By Valentin Cognito, reviewed by Threshold.

* Perpetua and Perpetua Lvl 5 now have updated Default and Sex loss scenes to match the revamped ones you can access when visiting her at Sleim Vllge. By Valentin Cognito, edited by Threshold.

* In addition to the above, Perpetua and Perpetua Lvl 5 have a new Defeat scene, accessible either from the Default loss one or from losing to her when in the Slimed 50% stance. * The Matango now has a specific scene for when you lose to her in the Sex stance, which makes use of her new CG. By Valentin Cognito, edited by Threshold.

* The Aphrodesia District in the Capital now has a consumable shop with 8 new consumables, including 2 not-so-useful ones that exist mostly for funsies. By Threshold, edited by Valentin Cognito.


**Art**


* The Matango standing art has been layered properly, and she now has 7 new expressions from mixing parts of her existing expressions. Art still by Applehead.

* The Matango now has a Sex CG used where relevant in her fight, the Matango Ambush event, and the Matango Den event. Art by Applehead.

* Old iterations of art assets have been removed from the game files in order to free up about 24 MB of space. They will still be freely available elsewhere. Android users couldn't really access these files anyway.

* The Aphrodesia District's new shop features new art by Otani.


**Balancing**


* Ushris' 'Taming Lockdown' Skill now only requires the player to have 5 stacks of Paralysis down from 10, and gets harder to escape at 10.

* Adventurer Apartments' Floor 3 puzzle has been tweaked to be less likely to confuse and mislead players. By Valentin Cognito.

* Repeating arm-wrestling with Minoni now eventually gives substantially less Progress with her.

* The Sweet Matango Mushroom item now grants a 20 Allure buff up from 15.

* All of Ancilla's Sleep-applying attacks now last 10 turns up from 7.

* The Matango's Slumber Spores' Sleep status now lasts 5 turns up from 2, and drains 20 Energy per turn up from 10.

* Sofia's Sleepy Kisses' Sleep status now lasts 20 turns up from 5.

* The Kunoichi Trainee's and Shizu's Ninja Art: Sleep Bomb Sleep status now lasts 10 turns up from 4, and drains 10 Energy per turn up from 5. Its base success chance has been lowered from 80% to 75%.

* Increased the Value of Oni Sake from 200 to 500.


**QoL**


* Eliminated worst-case game data lookup performance hitches. The test system now only takes 13 milliseconds searching all game data down from 2 seconds, including ~750x improvement for Skills. By feltcutemightcleanlater.

* Improved performance of NPC navigation over gridmaps (e.g. Labyrinth), with an average of 2x improvement. The larger the map, the greater the savings. By feltcutemightcleanlater.

* The hellhounds in the Labyrinth will no longer move onto the same spot. By feltcutemightcleanlater.

* Halved the performance cost of the pink bubbles in the menus, and added pink bubbles to the right side of the main menu. By feltcutemightcleanlater.

* You can now poke the character bubbles in the main menu. By feltcutemightcleanlater.


**Modding**


* If there are exactly two NPCs on the screen when the shopping menu is toggled on, those two NPCs are now pushed closer together, in order to better fit the display.

* Slight tweak to how 'requiresStatusEffect': 'Paralysis' is detected for Skills, in order to stop them from not working when you get to 10 stacks and over. In-game, this only applies to 1 Ushris Skill.

* Added CanShareTile parameter to gridmap NPC. By default on. If off, NPCs won't move onto the same target tile of NPCs who also have it turned off. By feltcutemightcleanlater.


**Fixes**


* Fixed a missing background call in a variation of leaving Kotone's room.

* The Mimic now actually uses her semen layer when the player cums in combat, as well as during the loss scene where she drags you into her treasure chest.

* Fixed a niche issue with saving not registering level-up stat changes started from the character screen if you saved and loaded right after confirming the stat allocation.

* Meeting Vili from the Imp Den event while in the Labyrinth should no longer jank the background and make it stay as the Forest Dungeon's.

* Fixed an issue where, if the player failed to escape a stance with Distract, a number of monsters' CG would end anyways.

* Malicia's Doll scene now properly clears the pent-up status.

* Nara should no longer keep using her Sex CG when she shouldn't be upon winning or losing.

* Typo and editing fixes.
