Alpha v18.3 change log



   
Note: If you were having odd issues with enemies just sort of instant losing, please ensure you load your save in town to update the save, not doing so can cause weird things to happen. Saves are auto updated in a new version when you move around the town locations, or can be done manually from options while in town. If the issues persist please report them with as much detail as you can.

Content
-Minoni now has more content once you’ve cleared the Power half of the temple dungeon. Her arm wrestle rematch has been redone.  She has 3 lewd scenes. Remember, cuddling isn’t lewd.

Balancing
-Nerfed Nicci’s restraint skill, luck, and many of her skills aphrodisiac applications, given she applies them constantly. She is also now considered a level 15 enemy and gives a bit more exp.
-Nerfed some other restraints.
-Feng and Aiko have had their max arousal increased.

Art
-Amber now has art by Applehead.

Modding
-EndVictoryEvent added, so victory events give out rewards properly.
-GetEventAndSetChoice add to allow changing of variables across events.
- StatCheckRollUnder – Functions the exact same as StatCheck but displays pass text for the fail and fail check for any passes, also states the goal is to roll under. Can have multiple checks like StatCheck too.
-Changed how choices/key word varibles are handled allowing theoretically infinite choice/variable options while stopping the game from holding onto unneeded blank variables. Hopefully won’t cause any new crashes. Aka, you’re no longer limited to 9.


Tweaks
-Tweaks to the new resolution UI thanks to ShivanHunter. Notably skills in the character menu are no longer highlighted if you can’t use them out of combat.
-Random encounters now get turned off in the dungeon after you finish that side. Except the ninjas.
-Added switches by the entrance to each side to turn them on and off.

Fixes
-The second round of BJ with the kunoichi trainee now properly triggers instead of ending the scene.
-Kyra and the kunoichi trainee now properly give post battle rewards when you beat them.
-Fixed the player continuing penetrate after being countered by Aiko.
-Invigorate no longer greys itself out if your energy is below 50. Given it uses your arousal not energy.
-Fixed Cathy’s initial sex options not jumping to the right events.
-Changed how orgasms and losses are detected so combat events can finish you off again.
-Fixed an issue where if you didn’t fuck feng after her battle you would get blooped back to the entrance to her room instead of going to flip the power lever.
-Sleeping characters can no longer dodge status effects.

-Edits/typo fixing to feng and aiko’s events as well as some assorted minor things. Also about 80% of Kotone’s content has also been greatly touched up and improved. By WilliamTheShatner.

Alpha v18.2 change log



  
Resolution change
-The game now functions at 1920 x 1080. But can be easily scaled smaller in options or switched to full screen.

Content
-The kunoichi trainee’s now have 3 scenes available when you defeat them.
- Kunoichi trainee’s also now have a new loss scene for the footjob stance. With special thanks to zyxxz on the ulmf forum.
-Kunoichi Trainee’s now actually have lines for trying to get out of their footjob stance.

Balancing
-The player now gets to try and break free of stances once per turn without using up their turn.
-Greatly changed the equation for escaping restraints to make it easier to scale/balance restraint effect.
-Added a ‘desperate struggle’ option for escaping restraints that greatly increases how fast you can get out of restraints at the cost of 10 energy.
-Restraints now scale better with the stat of the skill, and many restraint skills have been tweaked.
-Increased energy cost of teleport from 10 to 20, and increased the willpower required to learn it.
-Increased energy cost of distract to 10 from 5 and increased it’s fail chance slightly. It’s also inadvertently nerfed from the changes to stance escaping.
-Let me know if restraints are too strong now. Note that power builds are the best for getting out of them normally.

Assorted Tweaks
-Weakspot now only displays if the fetish is lvl 3 or higher, instead of when you have even a single fetish level.
-Characters can no longer cum from status effect skills or skills that buff the opponent. Aka If your over max arousal and your opponent uses a skill that increases their attack you don’t orgasm. So a character must now take direct arousal to finish them off.
-Tengu Harpies no longer have the energetic bounce skill and it has been replaced with a new skill.

Art
-Elena now has character art by Jiffic. Also Perpetua has three new currently unused expressions for later.
-Also all character art has been resized for the game’s new resolution.

Fixes
-Nicci will no longer display nursing hand job lines on player orgasm if the player is nursing and fucking her.
-Nicci will no longer begin tit fucking you while you’re fucking her ass.
-Fixed Feng’s second phase not activating so the player easily wins the fight.
-Fetishes now increase damage by x0.05(5%) per level instead of x0.5(50%) per level, like they’re supposed to.
-Fixed an issue with some skills not properly triggering orgasms if their status effect missed.
-The page buttons at the goddesses statue for fixing fetishes now work correctly.
-You can no longer get a foot job and a blowjob at the same time from two kunoichi trainees.

Tweaks
-Monster orgasm dialogue is now displayed a bit differently, taking the redundant generic line out.
-The circular scroll bar for perks/fetishes can now be left and right click to be moved, this is a band aid fix until it’s set up to be moved like a normal scroll bar for the people who have been having issues with it, let me know if it helps or not.
-Character creation now properly starts your selected fetish at level 3 instead of 2.
-Tengu’s will no longer use Gale Force if you’re restrained.
-Characters now get a 2 turn charm immunity after recovering from charm by any means.
-Kunoichi Trainee’s have 25 less max arousal.
-Kunoichi Trainee’s now have a new erotic kiss skill to use while making out.
-The escape artist perk now helps you escape from the Tengu’s and Aiko’s combat event restraints.

Art
-The matango now emotes in combat.
-Vivian now changes expressions as well.
-Added mediocre temp backgrounds to the temple.

Modding
-Added the ApplyStatusEffectQuietly function, works the same as ApplyStatusEffect but does not display a line.
- SetArousalToMax function added, sets player arousal to max.
- Added ChangeArousalByPercent and ChangeEnergyByPercent to changes players arousal or energy based on maximum of the stat.

Bug Fixes
-Getting all your fetishes fixed at the statue will no longer crash the game if using an older save file, in addition the game will now properly track newly added fetishes correctly. Note: If you gained temporary monstrous fetish before this patch, it’s probably permanent.
-While making out with kunoichi’s they will no longer get Aiko’s make out skill instead of their normal erotic mist skill.
-Losing to the tengu normally no longer crashes the game.
-Going back to the entrance to the will trail room no longer has Minoni pop up for no reason.
-Enemy names should no longer be speaking after combat.
-Using trance removal items out of combat now works properly.
-Fixed an issue where the PlayerOrgasmNoSpiritLoss function was skipping dialogue and other lines.
-When fighting two Kunoichi trainees the can no longer give you a blowjob and fuck you at the same time.
-Should no longer have weird occasions where you’re exploring somewhere after being at the temple, then getting warped back to the temple.
-Ass path for one of the will tests no longer smashes you with an extra 500 arousal instead of the intended 50.
-Kotone’s quiz can no longer send you to fight a kunoichi trainee.
-The second treasure chest on the red side no longer warps you back to the first chest.
-FocusedSpeaks function now properly gives quotation marks to characters.
-A certain perk no longer condenses itself in the perk list and makes things look bad.
-Fixed an issue with Vivian’s name not displaying in the intro.
-Fixed two elves sometimes not starting a threesome when they beat you.
-Getting you fetishes fixed at the goddess statue can no longer set them below 0. This issue was most likely caused by the issues with the monstrous fetish, using the statue to fix your fetishes will fix and negative fetishes.
-Fixed the player’s equipment not updating to support the trance status effect and related crash.
-Applying status effect buffs or nerfs to the player via events now works correctly.
-Kunoichi Trainee’s can no longer use Super erotic mist when they aren’t supposed to be able to.

Writing/Editing
-Copious writing fixings courtesy of WilliamTheShatner. But not everything for the temple has been gone over yet. So still expect typos and such. But the Harpy Tengu’s lines are now have more differences compared to the normal harpies.

Alpha v18 Changelog

BE SURE IF LOADING AN OLDER SAVE TO LOAD IN TOWN AND EITHER UPDATE YOUR SAVE MANUALLY OR GO SOMEWHERE IN TOWN TO AVOID CRASHES!
Also get ready for typos and probable bugs!

Content – Temple Dungeon! – Note: The dungeon is currently incomplete and unable to be completed.
-A dungeon you actually walk around in!
-5 new enemies.
-2 non-fightable NPCs in the dungeon.
-Skill check based trials!
-A sort of side quest, that also can’t be completed as you can’t finish the dungeon yet.
Note: After completing the initial portions of the dungeon the random encounters will stop occurring, I’ll be adding a feature to toggle them back on in a future patch. So don’t worry about losing out on content.

Other Content
-Added Monstrous to the fetish list, for tails, wings, and what have you. It can also be gained from older events and scenes.
-6 new equipment items.
-Trance status effect! Talk to Elena in town for more details. Also there’s a consumable item to help deal with it.

Art – Note: Neither of the new art’s currently change emotions.
-Vivian by Plasmid – She has a nude and lingerie versions that are not yet utilized.
-The Matago by Applehead.

Balancing
-The lion’s amulet accessory now has a drawback.
-When the sleep effect ends for the player, they get to act that turn.
-Nerfed Semen Frenzy from 50% attack boost on enemies to 30%.

Modding
-StoreCurrentEventSpotSkippingLines and GoBackToStoredEvent functions now exist for events. Used for repeatable events and going back to a different spot depending where it’s triggered. Be careful wen using it, read the section in the mod manual or the examples of it in the temple dungeon.
-RunningWontSkipEvent precombat event function allows the event to continue after combat even if the player runs. Precombat and precombat monster functions are now also detected in a smarter way.
-PlayerStep applies out of combat status effects to the player, only aphrodisiac currently.
-ChangeWill, ChangePower, ChangeTech, ChangeAllure, and ChangeLuck, added to allow permanent alterations to player stats.
-PermanentChangeStatusEffectResistances – Allows permanent alterations to the players ability to resist status effects.
-PermanentlyChangeFetish – Permanently add fetishes to the player, can not be removed by the goddess statue.
-ChangeMaxArousal - ChangeMaxEnergy – ChangeMaxSpirit – Change the respective maximum permanently for the player.
-IfPlayerHasStatusEffectWithPotencyEqualOrGreater and IfMonsterHasStatusEffectWithPotencyEqualOrGreater - functions to check status effect potency in combat events.
-DefeatMonster – Defeats the focused monster, giving out exp and loot for the player when combat ends.
-RemoveStatusEffect – Removes a specified status effect from the player.


Fixes
-Stopped renpy from deleting the mod folders when it makes a distribution for the game. Thereby fixing the issues people were having with the mod loader.
-Lillian can now have a bubble on the main menu. Under fixes because I forgot to do that before.
-Getting fetishes once you hit max fetish level will no longer continue to add to you temp Fetish count, so when you go to pay off your fetishes you can’t theoretically go into the negative fetish levels.
-Player equipment now properly updates with changes to the items equipped.
-Fixed an issue where enemies could ignore the stance escaped rules and put you into a stance anyways.

Alpha v17.2 changelog

Changes
-In the game intro Elena informs the player that skills need to be bought.
-The loss scene for the mimic actually has her change expressions now.
-Lowered payout for winning rematches against Ancilla. Remember she also drops money.
-Lowered eros reward for complete the Caravan quest line.
-Many enemy Eros drops have been increased.
-Many forest and forest dungeon enemies have been nerfed, mostly just hits to max hp.
-Buffed most healing potions, costs were changed as well.
-Elixir’s have been added, mini elixirs are available from the start f the game, while elixirs are available for buying once you finish the mountain.

Art
-Lilian has art, by Houpo
-Enemies with art now have their expressions in combat.

Modding
-The mod loader made by StrangeMan52 has been updated and integrated into the game permanently.
-Combat events can now properly change enemy expressions/images. You can theoretically change it to a sex cg, but this is untested and may be super jank.

Fixes
-Fixed characters sometimes hanging around after their event is over if you found a rest point.
-Fixed the combat menu still poking around right after surrendering.
-Numerous edits and typo fixes thanks to WilliamTheShatner.
-Few assorted other typo fixes.

Alpha v17.1 Changelog

Changes
-The combat events currently in the game, no longer trigger normally if the monster is stunned, restrained, or asleep.
-Nicci now has a pheromone cloud that applies a small amount of aphrodisiac at the end of every round.
-Changed the text box to make art behind it more visible.
-Fetishes are now capped at lvl 10. And cap at 100% extra damage.
                -Increases by 5 percent per fetish level
                -Bonus 5% at lvl 3, bonus 20% at lvl 5, and finally bonus 25% at lvl 10.
                -You are now considered to have the fetish at lvl 3.
                -This should make fetishes less of a problem. As before they scaled by 50% every lvl starting at lvl 2 and increased by 50% every level.

Art
-Black Knight now has art by Applehead.

Fixes
-Defeating the enemy in the mysterious inn now actually registers you beat them for progression.
-Fixed a rare crash involving the ui in combat, probably.
-Fixed a potential crash involving combat events.
-Fixed some instances of Jora’s quests telling you that you returned to town an extra time.
-Fixed being able to select a combat option by accident before combat actually starts.
-The elven women will now try to make out with you if you’re getting a blowjob from another one.

Content
-Mysterious Inn Content Update
                -Progression is tweaked, old saves may act oddly, but will definitely reset most progress.
                -You can progress even if you choose to never win/fight back. And you don’t need to be as accusatory to progress if you do win.
                -Now with some talk scenes, a description of the inn’s interior and some other fluffy things.         
                -Older sex scenes got tweaked a little, extended in one case.
-2 new scenes for after initial progression is over, try having a normal meal.
-A loss scene for the enemy in sex stance has been added.
-A couple victory scenes are available after initial progression.
-The foe in the event now has a couple of tempting tricks up her sleeve in combat, won’t be a problem if you have a strong will…

Changes
-The tab for escape skills is now called Esc Skills.
-Enemies won’t spam charm skills that only charm, if the player is already charmed.
-Nerfed some of the starting area’s enemies hp a little.
-Jora and Camilla – Clarity has been added to why you can’t use certain skills on them, by allowing you to attempt the skill on them.
-Nicci now reacts differently to suckle given her nectar dripping breasts.

Modding and systems
-DamagePlayerFromMonster – Can be used to deal randomized damage to the player in events.
-Combat functions now exist. Read the modding guide to find out more, because it’s a bit too big to throw in the changelog. It is at the bottom of the guide. Hopefully adding this system didn’t breaky anything catastrophically and I didn’t notice.
-SetPostName can be used to add a post bit to all speaks calls, allowing for attack like titles to be added to them for events and combat functions.
- GetEventAndIfChoiceIs – check an event’s choices and jump to a scene anywhere.
-You can now give the player items or take them without a text popup.
-Enemies can now have end of round dialogue, though the main purpose of this is to allow for end of round functions.
-Enemies can now have counters to player skills. Or counters period.

Fixes
-Fixed perks broking a little.
-After events while adventuring it now properly checks if you can camp, and allows you to use your inventory.
-Fixed a crash involving getting restrained out of combat.
-A cornucopia of line edits and fixes by Williamtheshatner, Jora’s content is now about 50% more emotionally painful! Note: Edits only go up to the last up date, this update’s new content probably has typos.
-Note: Due to a typo, progress for the first part of the caravan quest has been reset if you did not complete it already. Only matters if you are loading an older save.

v16.1 Alpha changelog



Modding
-There is now a separate set of list for brothel events to allow modders to add their own without any hassle. It functions by event name, not file name.

Fixes
-Treasure chest img will no longer get stuck on screen if you don’t open it and it isn’t a mimic.
-Selling items will not longer ruinate your inventory.
-Escape skills and surrendering while bound now are both useable again. Also the escape skills tab has been renamed to Escape? For text size reasons, if you have a better suggestion please feel free to mention it, only other option I thought of that was okay was E Skills.
-Fixed an issue where you could select the same perk multiple times.
-Fixed an issue where the manticore could think you worked at the brothel even if you didn’t.
-Aphrodisiacs no longer retain potency if you remove it with a herb then get a new aphrodisiac.

Alpha v16 changelog


  
Content
-1 new quest on the mountain. Requires you to have climbed the mountain.
-3 new brothel scenes. One is essentially the continuation of the blue oni scene, also the blue oni’s description has been slightly updated.

Balance Changes
-Enemies will now give you an extra turn of leeway when you escape a stance or restraints before trying to put you back into a stance, and the time before they attempt to put you into restraints again should be more predictable. About 2 turns.
-Multiple enemy groups can now only put you in a single stance per turn, which should slow down the inevitable gang bang. Eg, the imps can’t all dive onto your cock in one turn.
-The mimic has been buffed to accommodate the first change.
-Brothel events now have a large portion of eros paid towards debt instead of to the player.
-After working at the Brothel enough, you can now pick which section of it you work at.
-The ‘nothing happens’ event in the Bar/Brothel now pays out 100 eros instead of a paltry 50.
-Cost to remove fetishes have gone down per level of fetish from 500 to 250.

Art
-The Mimic now has art, by Plasmid. Also a wooden treasure chest.

Modding
-GiveItem item can now also take items away. Just put a negative number.
-"ShowTreasureChest" and "HideTreasureChest" functions to display the wood treasure chest art.
-"ClearStances" Function clears all stances on characters in the current scene.
-“ChangeDebt” Allows the changing of player debt in events.
-“ChangeAffection” now requires you to put the npc’s name.
-“GetNPCAffectionEqualsOrGreater” get an npc’s affection and then go to scene if greater than number

Fixes
-Push away menu no longer stays open after use, to stop weird stuff from happening.
-Nicci no longer crashes the game if she misses soft amber embrace.
-Fixed the no anatomy perks to actually work again.
-In combat you can’t select items that don’t exist anymore.
-When surrendering you can no longer accidently loop surrender dialogue.
-Other fixes

Alpha v15.1 changlog


v15.1 change log

Changes
-Nerfed Nara’s total hp to a more reasonable level.
-Many player skills have had energy costs lowered or damage/effects increased.
-Allure scaling with all damage now scales better with higher base damage skills.
-Getting out of stances is now slightly easier.
-Restraint effects now slightly scale with the skills related stat.
-Mika has a new expression that has been added to her scenes.

UI
-Text box is now much more symmetrical. Yell at me if you liked the other one more.
-Combat menu no longer closes if you miss a click. It also keeps your options open across turns.
-Text size of combat menu has been increased.
-Quest names will clip less if they have longer names.
-You can now turn off character card bubbles in options.
-Scooted some clouds over on the map to make the forest more visible when you first start the game.
-Other assorted UI tweaks.

Modding
-You can now make Location Additions to add to existing locations without having to edit that location directly. Look at the ForestAdditionExample.json with the other locations for an example. Just make sure not to change exploreTitle and make sure the name matches the name of the location you want to add to.

Fixes
-You should no longer be able to throw your perk points away if you somehow manage to get all the perks.
-Text functions from restraints should no longer sneak into renpys normal text stuff and break things.
-Game no longer crashes if you watch the intro.
-Fixed a crash related to case sensitive OS.
-Fixed Nara crashing the game with an inversed damage range on one of her skills.

-Other assorted bug fixes and typo fixes.

Alpha v15 change log.


Content
-One new quest! Go deliver a bunch of supplies to three campers on the mountain. Available after climbing the mountain.

Changes
-Magical Binding now requires you to be able to speak/have a free mouth. Aka can’t be used while making out, face sat on, or getting breast smothered.
-The game will now auto update your save in town if the version doesn’t match.
-Elena now has information on how leveling progresses.
-Getting out of stances with someone who is stunned, restrained, or asleep is now assured.
-You can now easily run away from stunned, restrained or sleeping enemies. Groups require all of them to be under an effect for it to be assured.
-Increased the penalties for losing to Camilla to better reflect it.
-Lowered will power requirement to resist Mika’s fetish temptation.
-Stella’s fetish temptation check can now actually be resisted, she now also checks for the kissing fetish.
-The imp den and sleeping manticore events are easier to run from if you have Swift or Escape Artist.
-Boosted starting eros from 500 to 1000.

Art
-Mika now has character art.

UI – Thanks to ShivianHunter
-There is now a fancy new UI for the game due to the hard work and efforts of ShivianHunter.
-Feedback on the new UI will be greatly appreciated.

System and Modding
-Database now keeps player progress up to date when updating the game in a smarter way.
-.json lists have been reworked. You should now put your content into the related mod list in the Lists folder. Alternatively you can make your own list and add it to the list of lists. But just adding them to the initial dedicated mod list works fine, as I will not be touching those and they are already linked into the list of lists. So should remove a bunch of keeping up with updates if you mod the game.
-Jumping to a scene in any way during a victory scene now works correctly, also any scene changes in loss or victory scenes will look through both loss and victory scenes for that character, make sure you use different names for the scenes.
-"JumpToEventThenScene" function now exists. Allowing you to go to a specific scene in an event.
-The Speaks/Speaks2/Speaks3 now goes up to Speaks9, allowing for up to 9 characters in an event. Not on screen though. Just accessible in the event.
-{THEPLAYERNAME} can now be used to get the players name in ALL CAPS. {TPN} can be used to get the first initial of the players name.

Fixes
-If Nicci misses some of her skills, she no longer crashes the game.
-The player using a move that costs spirit no longer causes the enemies next skill to drain their own spirit, instantly defeating them.
-Getting a victory scene now properly continues where the last event left off, if there was one, and no longer skips combat rewards, such as exp and money.
-Other assorted fixes.

-More editing and fixes to grammar by Williamtheshatner.

-Ancilla’s health was slightly lowered, Her sleepy cuddle skill’s damage has been buffed.
-Minotaur now has stance struggle text. I forgot to give it to her when she was made apparently.

Fixes
-Teleport no longer fails constantly. Also the equation for failure no longer has your stats work against you. Wasn’t the auto fail problem but it was still a problem.
-Stella no longer displays the wrong name in the name plate.
-Camilla no longer crashes the game by trying to say your name before a menu.
-Putting monsters to sleep no longer crashes the game at the end of every turn.
-Monster girls no longer flail in their sleep to get out of stances they don’t like.
-Enemies will no longer sleep talk in response to getting hit by skills.
-Enemies with art will now display the sleep status icon if affected by it.
-Fixed being able to pick climb even if you didn’t have the energy.
-Lizard girls no longer crash the game when they try to fuck you.
-Removed the excess ‘the’ in stance struggle text.
-Some assorted typo fixings.

Save Integrity: Good But remember to update your save in town to avoid any oddities. It’s in options.
